Which (if you were going to buy) Surge Protector would anyone buy for your camper? Name brand would be nice if you have one. I’m thinking of a 30A Surge Protector.

I purchased the Progressive unit from Tweety's. So far, no issues - plug it in; wait for the tests to run and look for the successful completion code E0; plug in TT for the duration. I did add a substantial lock/chain security device to minimize the likelihood that it would walk off one week end.

safe travels,

I also would like to know which one you are speaking off.

I hard wired this 50 amp on my RV. Here is the web site. Has good prices too.

I like the Surge Guard like this one 30 amp
I have had the 30 amp and right now use the 50 amp. They not only protect from surges but low and high voltages. If the voltage drops lower than 102 or goes above 132 it shuts down the voltage to the camper. I use the hardwired versions but you can also get the plug in models Plug in models
You can get them at most RV supply places I just used Camping World to show you what they look like. Good investment.

I bought the old faithful that camping world sells for about $250, portable. IIRC, the permanent one is cheaper. just be sure whatever you buy is full function, not simply a surge protector.
