Maybe this is why I don't have many friends.
I just thought of something. I'm headed to our local Wal-mart today to see if I can get a job managing the campground.
All I know is, it's six pages in and you're still posting. I think on some level, you really want to come on over to the right side of this, don't you?
It's ok. We've all done things in the past we've regretted, you know? I'm sure no one will hold it against you. Or make fun of you endlessly while roasting smores and watching the moon rise over the blue neons to the gentle hum of the gennies. Each security pass with the flashing blue light reminiscent of a K-Mart special from days gone by...that special wish for the light standard with the plug at the bottom...ahhh...think I got somethin' in me eye.
I'm not really sure what the right side is or if you know which side I'm on. I have never "camped" at Wal-mart however I have stopped in the middle of the night to catch a few hours of sleep after having fallen behind schedule. I will probably do that again someday. I would never plan a trip around staying at a Wal-mart but have no problem with those that do. If it were a problem Wal-mart would put a stop to it. Why anyone would have an opinion other than this is beyond me.

Wal*Mart's already getting most of my dollars spent out-of-pocket each year. Between groceries and buying diesel fuel to travel, more of my dollars go to WM than anywhere else. I'm glad to hand them all I can, since they're the lowest priced grocery and diesel fuel source store in the first place......no need to spend anywhere else but the collection plate at church each week.
I have a sweet tender nature, however I enjoy sharing my thoughts and opinions.

Bull, Most places where it is not aloud it's because of city wide ordinance, probably put in place after the local campground owner complained because they couldn't get alllll the money.

I still can't figure out who they are hurting. With all hate displayed toward the "Wally Warthogs", they must be hurting someone?
Someone please clue me in, I'm feeling very left out.

I'm waiting for the Bank of Wal-Mart, so they can keep my money until I spend it in their stores.

Elko, NV
No parking of rvs anywhere overnight except parks or camps due to a lawsuit against the town for lost revenue due an rv park based on an ordinance that has been in place for some time.

yep, as I say, it's the rotten apples that will ruin it all for the decent folks. The Wally Warthogs are going to make these store owners to wonder if it is worth it all to let just anybody "camp" in their lot.
