Since, I know a little less than zero about electrical matters, I must ask. My coach is 50 amp (only 1 a/c, 15k) and I am considering purchasing a surge protector.
Naturally I would tend to buy a 50 amp protector but, I am wondering if the 50 amp provides proper protection when I am reduced down to 30 amp service in some CG's?
Or could I even use the 50 amp at 30 amp service box?

Progressive industries sells good ones with excellent specs. I have the PT50C.

You will also be protected with 30 amp service.

Call me if you wish. I am very much an electrical person.

What about low voltage? I have a 50 amp EMS. I'm thinking of having a pestal powermate that I can use if I should get into a low voltage situation.

The PT50C checks for both low voltage and high voltage as well as all the proper grounding.

What I was getting at is, you should have a Power Mate to increase your voltage if it is to low.
