Ike

Ike might do what Gustav could not do. Hope you guys in New Orleans haven't unpacked yet.

Another CAT 3 storm in the Gulf might be enough to send prices back upward.

This site http://www.forecasts.org/oil.htm is forecasting $103 in December. Maybe not as good as $80, but better than today.

Hi,

With the election coming up, I think we will see good prices for the next couple of months. But come November 15th, the price will slowly and surely rise again.

I really think folks are really sick of it, and demand is really taking a drop. I listed my fathers Honda scooter for sale a month and a half ago, just one a day in Craigslist, and I'm still getting calls on it, maybe 15 by now. I also wanted to order another Moped , one for my wife so I can ride in the parks with her, and I guess Tomos can't keep up with the demand in the states anymore, their nowhere to be had. It's going to be a long time after folks get adjusted to driving small vehicles, that they'll fall for buying gas hogs again, the oil folks made sure of that.

I am curious. How do the oil folks made sure people will buy gas hogs? I thought people decide what to buy.

A lot of the problem is the media. two mo. ago they were saying $200.00 per barrel people were in panic mode. Now the are sawing $100.00 per barrel. sometime they are like weathermen sometimes they are right. One of the big problems we have in this world is to many experts.

The media always over hypes everything, that is why so many no longer believe anything they say and newspaper circulation and Network news numbers continue to drop. They have an agenda and it is NOT to make sure you get good info!
