2006 Coachmen Adrenaline 228 FB/TT with a price of $21k out the door

It's brand new but a leftover. I was a little worried as to why the dealer would have such an old leftover on the lot and I never really got a straight answer from the dealer. There is a lot of little petty things wrong with it and the dealer is taking care of them before I pick it up.

I finally found a toy hauler that had the inside measurements that I needed to fit 3 full size 4x4 quads inside without turning them sideways. It has the 5.5 Micro-quiet genny with a 150 gal fresh water and surprisingly large 70gal grey and 59gal black tanks. It also has some pretty neat conveniences like the pressure cleaner, air compressor, fueling station with a second fuel tank for the genny. The bathroom is very large which was a very important part of the final decision. I hope this is a good unit because it's my first toy hauler and Coachmen has a pretty good name in the business.

I pick it up next Friday which is fine because I won't have my Equalizer till Thurs.

Congrats on your new TH. I wouldn't worry too much about how long it's been there. TH's have been tough to move, and if the dealer wasn't being very aggressive with pricing previously, then he wouldn't have moved it.

Have fun. You'll love it

Congrats!
I saw the brochure that someone posted and checked the specs .. I think you got yourself a great TH! I was really impressed with the tank sizes and alot of the other features it has.
I think there is a PDI checklist somewhere here you can download. Also since it has been sitting awhile I'd give the roof a once over and make sure it's good to go. I'd make my first trip a camp out in the driveway at home. If there are any bugs or glitches you over looked in the PDI it'd be better to find them there rather than 200 miles from home in the boonies somewhere.
Have fun with your TH .. I sure love mine!

It's called they need to free up some cash.
Your unit was paid for years ago and they now are hurting so they are finally willing to deal.

In our case the Jayco dealer had a one full model year old 5er left over, and it was a great price. Since he owns 3 dealerships here in SoCal, he has various storage lots, including a huge indoor building. The 5er was behind all of his newer inventory for over a year inside the warehouse, and when the lot guy found it, it had not seen the light of day for over a year. Still had the shipping plastic on everything. So he blew it out at nearly half of the MSRP! It was my official "deal of a lifetime!" That was as lucky as what you found, so go enjoy it and stop asking questions already!

Congrats on the new TH. Sounds like it has everything you were looking for and the price looks good. Oh and by the way, it has a picture of my dog on the side so it has to be good.

I wouldn't look that gift horse in the mouth. The new WW we purchased was on the lot for a year and we purchased it very close to dealer invoice. Maybe at that price (because of all the options and extras) most people turn to fivers rather than a tow behind. Don't know, don't care -- like you, we got a deal.

I hope you enjoy your TH as much as we do ours!

Congrats!!

My Adrenaline sat on the lot for a while too. Mine was purchased in Reno so that means hotter than hell and then maybe some snow in the winter. If the roof was going to leak, it should have leaked on the lot. The only problems I've had was a bad tank/electric sensor panel, some short screws in the cabinets and a plugged black tank rinse hose. I'd recommend replacing all cabinet screws with longer ones cause I've pulled a few out already. I think I used 5/8's. Have the dealer hook up the water and fill the fresh tank. Let the pump run and fill the grey while going over other stuff. Hook the black tank rinse up to fill the black tank too. Check under the sinks for leaks too. If I think of anything else I'll post.

Any questions about the unit shoot me a PM

Just thought of something... Have them fax you the spec sheet on the unit.. It will have all included parts that came from Coachmen.. I had one faxed to me and found several items missing (pressure washer, 33 gal folding trash can and the carpet) when we went to pick it up.
