I have decided to quit using our propane and start using the electric provided at the camping sites... In my search of hotplates I found .. and I quote... "Mini Kitchen"...

I emailed the company with several questions regarding the concern I had to use the two cooking surfaces as well as the cook stove...

But being a member of Good Sam's Forum I decided to go to the best source in the world... Now.. if you have used this one in the past or know about this unit.. please let me know. thanks for your time.

palmilla I cannot comment on the Mini Kitchen but we have been using 2 electric hot plates for years along with a plug in convection oven and rarely use propane.

Our travels this year have found more and more folks using electric spaces heaters and George Foreman grills. The logic was why not use all the electricity from the park that we can and save using the propane which we have to pay for...at least this is what more than one camper told me. While I did not rush out and get a space heater, we did begin using our portable grill more.

This looks like a really neat item! I did find it on Target online for $119.00 which makes it a pretty good buy. Thanks for posting it on the forum.

Use the hot plate but never thought of the portable convection. Good idea.

I have a little toaster oven and a two burner hot plate. They stow away easily and are cheaper than the Mini Kitchen you mention. Of course since I already had them they were REALLY cheap for me.

Thanks everyone for all your ideas. I especially like the information regarding Target. That way I can actually look at it.

I appreciate you all.
