I know this is probably a stupid question to present for others but I am struggling when to get an popup. There is one coming to our local RV dealer in a few weeks and has everthing I want/need here for western NC. All the usual walk through stuff, propane tanks filled up, battery, etc. This E3 comes with a furnace. I have negotiated the deal to $13,200 driving out the door. This includes tax, title, all the above. Part of me wants to wait until next summer and the other part says thats what I said last fall. What do you think?
Thanks,
Brian

Fleetwood sold the Coleman line off about 5 months ago, so make sure the dealer tells you who is going to do the Waranty work. The price should be 75% of MSRP.

You can get a real discount price from Peco Camping. Their pricing is a good idea of what you should pay. Just make sure the trailer you look at is equally equipped.

The E3 will be badged as a Coleman. I actually looked at Peco and the negotiated price beats Peco's price plus it is local. Thanks again.

Wait till the PU arrives at the dealer, look long and hard at it and do what you think is best for you and the family. Good Luck....

Brian, I'm currently living with a couple guidelines:

1. Live each day as if there is no tomorrow because tomorrow is not guaranteed.

2. If you see something with your name on it... get it as it might be gone tomorrow.

Since I know you will enjoy the E3, I say buy it and get in some camping trips before it gets too cold. Plus you can spend all winter doing all the mods you can think of in preparation for next spring.

Hope this helps.

Hummer H2 - Black (DW vetoed the Yellow one, but I got two Yellow Hummer Folding Mountain bikes )

Brian,
I agree with Ruide...If you want it get it. If you not getting because there's something about the floorplan or model you don't like then shop around some more and find what you do want. If you waiting because you want to see what the 2010's will look like, do yourself a favor don't. Because then you want to see the 2011's then 2012's...etc. (you get the point) I did the same thing and because of that I missed 5 years that I could have been camping waiting on the next years models. FYI...Summer is camping season so that's when you usually get the worse deals.

This sounds like the same type of "dilemas" that would face many of my customers years ago when in computer sales: Do I buy now, or wait until x is newer/bigger/better/cheaper?

There will ALWAYS be something even cooler than what's in front of you. However, you will perpetually wait for it, never pulling the trigger until maybe it's too late, or you've missed out on too many opportunities to enjoy something.

As stated above, if it's floor plans, then keep shopping. If it's that you just want the latest version of whatever-it-is, then either pull the trigger or determine if a PUP is even what you really want. (just trying to help nudge you one way or the other ).

Good luck
