I have edited your posts as noted in the posts.

Some pointers:

When you need to reszie pictures, only use one of the parameters (usually the width) and leave the other one blank. The display engine will respond only to the first one it sees and will automatically adjust the other dimension to keep the picture in proportion.

When inserting a picture, always do so on a new line; that is, press the 'Enter' key before opening the Image tool.
