well I guess time will tell if it lasts. if not I will try something different. as far as surface prep. I just scuffed up the few remaining glossy areas, gave it a good bath and went at it.

Good job,
Did you use the technique described in the various sites on the $50 paint job - where you thin the paint with mineral spirits, multiple coats, with lots of sanding in between? Any "orange peel" problems?

Ron I read those post about the 50 dollar paint job. I thought about that methode but it would take to long. I used the rustoleum right out of the can. There are some flaws here and there but my siding is corregated aluminium so they are not to noticeable. its pretty smooth thanks to the foam roller. My rig is 20 years old so it looks a lot better than before. I am not sure I would try this on a new rig if I did I would use automotive duplicolor. I was canping last weekend at a cg I frequent and the portion I had new paint on inpressed everyone. so I guess it looks good.
