I used some weatherstrip adhesive remover to remove some silicone caulk off of the side of my trailer, it also does a good job of removing the paint. I need some white touch up paint in a spray can for my aluminum siding. No RV stores carry touch up paint. I cannot find a paint code to match the color up with and calling WW will be fruitless. If anyone has had to touch up their trailer siding what have you used (paint manufacturer and color) and was it a good match? Any other ideas short of taking it to a body shop to match the paint?

Calling WW or talking to a WW service/dealer would likely be the BEST source.....

Try an auto parts store such as Pep Boys for their selection of automotive touch up paints. Although there are many shades of white, you should be able to find something close and at about $5 a can, buying a few to get as close as possible won't cost you a fortune. Or you can make that suggested phone call to WW for what you already know

Is automotive paint compatible with the paint on the aluminum siding?

If you can remove a panel and take it to the store you can get a color match. If you have to buy spray equipment, an airbrush can be had pretty cheap at Harbor Freight or other places.
I have had Sherwin Williams custom mix enamel paint and put it in spray cans.
You can also buy an aerosol system where you add a small amount of paint to spray for touch ups.
In answer to your last question; yes, automotive paint is the same thing. It is simply enamel paint.

Hey pcassidy111, did you ever end up coming to a decision on what paint to get? I just did a collapsing ladding mod to my warrior (like the 08+ models) and I'd like to repaint my ladder. I have a piece of the old mount I can bring in to color match, but I'd love to know if you know the exact name of our paint or what you used and if you were happy with the result.
Thanks in advance

I was sent a couple of cans of paint from Wes at Giant RV. I hope to do the paint patch up this weekend, weather permitting. I have 2 different shades of white that he got for me from the siding manufacturer, I will do the repair and post up my results on Monday.

Is the paint produced by the siding manufacturer, or is it a typical over the shelf brand (i.e Krylon, Rustoleum, etc)? I also have a couple of areas I need to touchup on my Warrior siding. Please keep us posted of your findings.

Thanks for getting back with the info guys. My patience got the best of me, took a bracket from the old ladder mount into Lowe's, matched it with a can of Rustoleum white gloss protective enamel. It matched very well in my mind, but it was the ladder that I was painting, not the fiberglass of the trailer. It's parked/covered at home but we're taking it out this weekend so when I get it in full sunlight, I'll take a better look and some pics. But do chime in if what Wes got you works perfectly, b/c I'd like to keep stock of some if I could.
