I have seen the infomercials on these and have seen them in stores. Do they work well? I would like something to blend things (like smoothies) that won't take up as much space as a blender. Anyone have one?

Yep, we've also got the JC Pennys model and we love it. We use it all the time. The 17 piece model was on sale last weekend for $19.95. I believe it normally lists for $59.95.

Cook's 5-in-1 Power Blender

The price is showing $24.95, that is still a better price than what I've seen the "Magic Bullets" going for.

Thank you Bearnkat. I checked for the availability in our closest Penneys and they have it in stock! I appreciate your help.

We have one, it works well. Makes a mess, but it will blend and mix anything!

I have a Braun Multiquick pro that I requested and got for Xmas one year. Love it and use in the stick house and TT. Don't know how much it cost, I just said a stick blender when I asked for it, got this one. You can chop, blend and grind with it. So versatile.

I bought ours at Big Lot for 20.00. It's an off brand name but works great and we use a lot for smoothies.

We bought the original when there were no off brands...From grinding coffee to smoothies to coffee frappuccino's its been fantastic!

Just watch out when filling it, leave room for foam...I usually blow mine off the machine, but so many years later its fine.

I also used it to make muffin mix and pancake mix...the ideas are pretty endless.
