Yep, a temperature transmitter in Mueller State Park, CO by a critter. Never did find it. A table cloth in Gulf Shores State Park, AL, by a raccoon. We found it the next day under the saw grass.

Bear absconded with the last of a jar of peanuts meant for the chipmunks last year. I let the chipmunks deal with him. Other than that, nada.

Half bottle of Captain Morgan one night. The next night another half bottle that had been doctored up X rated. Third night it sat on the table outside all night. Guess they had enough..

No, but I try not to tempt the next guy as much as possible. There's not really a way to secure my PUP, so visually obscuring valuables is about as good as it gets.

If you don't advertise what you've got, slightly less chance that an unsavory experience will come your way.

Not a thing in many years of camping. We do not lock everything up either, bikes, BBQ etc... sit outside all the time. Theft is not a rampant problem while camping. I am sure it happens but it is not a common occurance.

When we had a popup several years ago, our son had purchased "bug cage" at a gift shop. He left it outside one night and we never saw it again....I stil think to this day that a raccoon carried it off during the night!
