just wondering if anyone went to the rv show and what their thoughts are. we went wednesday and it was great weather. lots of people and plenty of rvs, but there were several long time names missing. the vender section inside gets smaller every year.

If it's listed in the Yellow Pages, the government shouldn't be messing around with it.

We were there, on Wednesday, as well. What manufacturer's were missing? I thought we saw them all. Several times, I saw people waiting in line to purchase mh's.

We went Wed & Thurs. Although it's presented as the largest RV show in America -- it is not nearly as large as Tampa. Hershey had very few vendors (a real disappointment).

Went Friday. Since it rained the entire day, I spent the day inside attending the seminars. Gary Bunzer's seminars were very good as always. By the way he said that they have a new RV show ready to go (filmed and accepted by a network), just waiting for sponsors.
The seminars put on by RVSEF (RV Safety and Education Foundation) were also very informative.
I too was disappointed with the smaller number of inside vendors. Even the Camping World area seemed smaller than in the past.

Go in the lower entrance and there are no stairs to climb.
There were several open spaces on the hockey rink. I just can't believe there are not more accessory sales booths at the show. If you need insurance, a loan or pots and pans there are plenty of choices. Otherwise very little. Hope everyone got one of those BIG SALE Honda 2000 generators that Camping World was selling for $100 more plus tax than you can buy most anywhere. Then you had to lug it to the car.
I also thought the outside show had less displays and fewer units than previous years.

We were there on Thursday. On the upper level, there were more vendors than last year as the vendors completely circled the Center. Last year, they did not go completely around the upper level. On the lower level, there were definitely a lot less than in previous years.

I was there Fri. & Sat. my friends bought a Big Horn that is very nice, we tried to also get one but had to walk away as they offered very little on my trade. The dealer said it is not worth to much as Pilgrim is closed, I told him it's worth alot more to me then the little bit he offered. Good thing I wanted a new one and not needed one as it made it easy to walk. All in all the show seemed to be the same no great improvements.
