As I posted a couple of months ago, I went to Tallahassee to temporarily fill a service writer position and was expecting to stay at least through November and enjoy some cool, fall weather. But, there have been some new developments in Ft Myers and I got to come home a couple of months early. Towed the TH home today, and will start back to work tomorrow. Good to be home and back on line.
This was my "home away from home" for the last 2 months.

OK, so the scenery was a bit lacking, but the price was right!

Welcome back to SW Florida! I don't blame you for wanting to enjoy the "North" for a while. We've always enjoyed any time we've spent up there, but it is always nice to be home. Good luck!

San Onofre Beach Campground is "Asphalt Camping" at its finest, complete with RXR tracks ~100' away, and the I-5 right behind that.
I keep forgetting that and seem to make it down there once a year

Oh yah, forgot to mention I-10 was just on the other side of the dumpster, and the train tracks were just beyond that. I quickly got used to the train whistle as it kinda took me back to sleeping at my G'ma's house in the summer (before A/C) when I was a kid.
Actually, it wasn't all that bad. I could have moved whenever I wanted to, and was planning to move to Ingram's Marina at Lake Talquin the first weekend in October. The only reason I was waiting was that I saw several RV's come in with roof damage after T.S.Fay, and figured I was safer in the parking lot than sitting under a bunch of tree limbs.
One good thing - I could leave "home" at 8am and get to work at
. . . . 8am.
Later,
Al
