I called the Richmond store today, and was told that they are in the process of closing it too.

Sign of the times??

Too bad about the Sprinfield location. They did have an excellent service dept.
I have known the GM there for 8 years and he was a standup guy.

So sad,

I just heard on the tv tonight that La Mesa Rv in San Diego is closing. I think I heard at one time that they were the largest rv dealer south of LA.

Bummer.

Sorry to hear about Best Buy's closing. They saved my "butt" and salvaged a year ago. I had some electrical issues and they came to the rescue. I was in Cincinnati, but they worked me in and finished everything in two days.

Terrible news...but I just bought a few 1000 shares of Monaco and Fleetwood as a gamble...like buying lottery tickets at these prices.

Hey Frank, the Springfield store closed it's sales but was keeping the Service Dept. open the last I heard. I was there a few weeks ago for some parts & got an estimate on installing my baseplate brackets. (4 hours @ $110. per hr. so I did it myself in a couple hours) Nothing was mentioned about closing. A few days later the article was in the newspaper about them closing the sales & keeping the service open. Seems to be alot of businesses biting the dust.
