Good news. Bubba Burgers are not only a southern delicacy. We have them up here in NJ (in a suburb of Phila). Yes, they are really good frozen burgers!

I can just hear the McKinnins radio add now! I walked out of that place with over $250 in meat one day, all in plastic bags. By the time I got to the truck, I thought my arms were going to fall off and the finger tips were blue. Got the weirdest looks from people on the sidewalk, but they all knew where I just came from. Money goes a long way in that shop.

Man this was a good thread. On my "bucket list" (something to do before I kick the bucket) Is to have a clam bake on the beach in Maine. Since I was a little girl reading Trixie Belden mysteries, it has been my goal. Now I guess I will add lobster. Guess I better get busy if I am going to make it,.

Ok everyone,
Aside from the ever popular and delicious Bubba Burger, our favorite meal is Pizza-Steak. Pizza-Steak is my own invention that combines two of my favorite foods.
The recipe is normally a closely guarded secret, but for the good people here....
Pizza-Steak
Rib-Eye Steak (the more tender the better of course)
Onion
Green Pepper
Mushroom
Black Olives
Ragu Pizza Quick Sauce
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Start by sautéing the onion, peppers and mushrooms in butter until about 1/2 done. You want them soft but with some crunch still. Grill the steak with salt and pepper. The rarer the steak the better the flavor combination, when the steak is 1/2 done; flip it over then cover with pizza sauce (put a fair amount, a good thick layer). Put on any or all of the veggies to your liking, cover with a heaping amount of cheese. Place the lid on the grill until the cheese is melted. Rest steak then serve with baked potato and salad.
Granted this is not a low cal meal, and I am normally a steak purist (salt and pepper only) but this is so good that it is the only time I will do anything to "dress" a steak.
I have yet to make them and have anyone say anything but rave reviews about the meal.

No offense to your invention,but we have a steak pizziola in Italian cooking.Same thing, but yours looks great.

Steak and grilled portabella mushrooms, with marinated and grilled zucchini, yellow squash and eggplant.

No offense taken, if have never heard of the other recipe then to me...I did indeed invent it! Besides is steak pizziola the exact same recipe?

here is one,but there are a ton of variations.My Mother always used parma reggiano cheese.Like I said , yours looks awsome.
2 ea- 1-1 1/2" thick steaks (my favorites are Delmonico's)
3 ea- Bell Peppers-(1)Green-(1)Yellow-(1)Orange
1 ea Med White Onion
2 ea Cloves Garlic
1 ea Cup White Wine
1 ea Cup Beef Broth
1/2 lb Linguini
1 ea Pinch of Basil-Oregano-Garlic Powder-Black pepper-Salt
2 ea Cups of fresh Mushrooms (sliced) Portabella preferred
1 ea Can Whole Peeled Tomatoes
1 ea 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
