We were towing our almost new 52 ft Fiver, a Commander Ultra Zeplin Coachlite with our new FreightHauler Maxi 120X diesel 550, when the brakes locked up. We were going about 40 mph and the rig swayed to the right,a low hanging tree took out a chunk of our roof! The big branch broke off on top of the roof, throwing our two roof top air conditioners to smash to the ground!

The several hundred pounds the branch weighed on top of the roof caused all four of our Chinese made tires to blow out, sending the trailer fenders up into our side thermal insulated windows, smashing two of them out! The trailer came to such an abrupt stop that the king pin slipped out of the hitch, and the front of the fiver crushed our pickup truck bed like a aluminum can, and our 4 dually tires and the Firestone Ride Rite air bags burst at the same time.

It started to rain very hard, and the interior of our trailer filled up like a bath tub, shorting out our generator, which started up by itself and fried our entire electical system! By this time we pulled into a nearby Supercenter, and ground to a stop in the parking lot. We went to a nearby pay phone, and called a RV Repair Shop. All the way across the parking lot, we heard a very loud music being played. Lots of shoppers and some rvers parked nearby had aparently called the Police to report this, and as we returned to our RV, we realized that the rain had shorted out our stereo systm and was playing an incredibly loud Led Zepplin CD. The Police were already there, and had a citation all ready for me to sign, for "Disturbing the Peace". As we finally reached our rig, it was just in time to find that our RV and Truck had just been towed off, and for the first time spotted the sign saying "RV's will be towed at the owners expense!"

The joke was on the tow truck company, because as we saw him towing our rig off in the distance, my wife remarked to me that our Trailer was now fully engulfed in fire. "Don't worry" I said, "the rain will put it out, besides, we have insurance, don't we"! To which my DW snapped "We do it you got some"! Ooops! (The sound of two propane tanks exploding!) (Sirens in the distance!) The End.

(No actual RV's or trucks were actually harmed for this story. All characters resembling those living or dead, is purely coincidence.)

I am glad it was only 4' 4" long or the damage would have been worse.

how many of the fake posts do we have to read before all the point makers have 'made' the point they want to make?

Thanks for the recap on posts made on here.
