We will be moving to JAX, Fl. by the end of Sept.08 for a new job and would like to know if anyone knows of any RV campgrounds IN or Near Jax. We have a class C.23'. Probably staying between 3-4 weeks until we can locate a nice area to live in a rental condo. THANKS

Hold tight and folks will respond. I've seen other posts on this -- sorry I can't answer about Jax, but St Augustine has Anastasia State Park (if you need a backup plan).

Pecan Park RV Resort is right off I 95 in Jacksonville. It is next to a Flea Market and the airport is near by. During the day you can hear the planes overhead but they close the airport at night and there is no noise then. They have concrete slabs (all pull thrus) for your RV, full hook ups and nice concrete picnic tables. It is an overnite spot for us as we travel to our winter resort in central FL. Hope this helps you....

Pecan Park RV resort is OK and Flamingo Lake Rv resort is very nice also. Both are on the northside, have full hook up's, are nicely maintained and have great access to the city's Interstate Highways

If your working on the southside of Jax try the StageCoach RV Park. Its less than a mile from I-95 on the NW side of St Augustine.
