Hello

I'm looking for the best route to get around DC in Nov.
I will not be towing anything this time if that makes a difference.

Take I-81 south to I-77 through North Carolina. Follow I-77 to Columbia, SC where you pickup I-26 toward Charleston. Grab I-95 southbound and look for the exit to Daytona.

Take 81 South to Winchester VA.Exit at 17 south follow that to
Fredericksville VA. Follow 95 south to 295 around Richmond VA.
Then back on 95 South. Good Luck

This is the fastest route with the least traffic. Use it at least once a year round trip from central Fl to Altoona.
