There's nothing funnier than the end of the day sunburn drunks at the ramp.
I could watch them all day.

I have heard that more RVer's get divorced over backing in than any other RV related disagreement.
Actually, Thats not a bad idea to let the other half learn how to back up the RV. Then they could understand the frushstration one has when they stand in the blind spot OR don't give correct directions which way the tail needs to go.
Now boat ramps can be very funny and very dangerous, once saw a person slip on the ramp at Dinner Key Marina while cranking on the wench only to have the handle swing back and crack his skull open.

We have been RVing from the 60's. The wife is very good at telling where to go!! She is also very good at directing me into a parking space. She is the ONLY person I listen too when we back in.
Maybe being an X fireman's wife and also a daughter of a firemen she has her act together.
She has spent a lot of time helping a out around the rigs.

Had one of those "accidents" at the boat ramp with our first trip out with the new to us sailboat....it was also the last time we launched the boat!
DW was trying to crank the hand crank while I was bouncing up and down on the stern, to get the boat to go up the carpeted pads (didn't know about using dish soap to make it slippery )....and then the winch slipped....wacked DW on the elbow....not very happy! So, I told her to come to the back, and I'd crank.....she wasn't paying attention, missed a step on the ramp-dock, and fell into the water.....after bouncing off the boat!! If she wasn't happy with the sore elbow, she was down right pissed off now!!! I had her go and get into the van, and basically humped the boat up onto the pads.....and got it in place....
We laugh about it now, but at the time, it was almost Divorce Court!!
As I said, that was the last time we launched the boat....we feel a bit better about the RV!!!
As far as backing the RV...I do it, and DW will use the walkie-talkies, and so far, so good! I feel comfortable backing (I also drive a school bus, so I'm use to large vehicles), and we've been lucky with our sites!!

Think how much money we could all have made doing a TV show called Americas Funnies Backups.
Every time someone backs in I grab my lawn chair and a cold drink and set up near the backing up. Man that's some good entertainment.
I wonder how many marriages have been lost over backing up MH's

One time at the MIL. We puled the MH from the driveway. Parked in front of the house and hooked up the toad. We did our safety check. WIfe was behind the toad giving me the hand signals as I tested the lights.
MIL asked if we were having a fight. Because her daughter was waving her arms all over and looking at the MH.

I do it solo.
I put an orange cone where I want to back up to.
Orange cone doesn't talk back, yell or wave arms in wrong direction.
Once in site, pick up orange cone and stuff in bay close door.
Something you just can't do with a DW.
