You should have called 911 and reported a hazardous waste spill(which it was). A hazmat cleanup isn't cheap when you consider the added fine. The Oregon state boys could have caught them pretty easily.

I'm not defending what they did, but do you seriously advocate a hazmat response if someone has the hose pop out at a dump station?
How many here can say "I've NEVER had ONE LITTLE DROP drip onto the ground when dumping. Nope, not once!"
I'd sure hope I can visit a dump station without the fear of a bill racking up into the thousands...

I saw that happen once. Brand new Lite TT of some kind. I challenged him on it and he said it was his first trip and didn'tcome with a hose. The dump station was 40 ft from the office that had a camp store with RV supplies. I went in and told them while he cleaned up the mess. I dumped at an empty site.

What does not wearing gloves have to do with dumping without a dump hose?
2 totally unrelated acts.......1 is perfectly OK and the other is illegal!

My money says they won't respond. I was at a water/electric park a few years ago. Half the park was closed off and being redone, that is where the dump station was. Every day between 11 and noon they opened the gate for those who wanted to dump. I was waiting in line as a class c pulled over the cement and did the same thing. The ranger was backed in facing the dump station, never even said anything.

Had something similar happen right in front of me. piece of junk tt, rednecks(mom and son) hop out, do the no hose dump dance to aviod the spillage. After DW and I picked our jaw off the truck floor we didn't know what to say other than WHAT?? Later on in the year we saw the same camper with the same people in it waiting to dump and I told the DW to call the rangers to let them know the id10ts are about to dump but she didn't want to. I should of but didn't.
