If you're using IE (Internet Explorer) download ieSpell. That's all I use now, I don't worry with the built-in spell checker on the forums.

I'll second the ISpell. You can check anything you highlight on any site/program.

This site's spell check hasn't worked in months and evidently they have no plans to fix it.

There also seems to be a problem with Grammar Check. Should the first sentence be `I seem to be having TROUBLE with spell check...'

I join in the recommendations for ieSpell if you are usingn Internet Explorer. If you want to use the forum's spell checker, it is working on two of the eight portals.

It's eisaet to raed dielbarelty mssiplleed wrods as lnog as you put the frsit and lsat lttres in the rhgit pcales.

Most browsers have a spell check. I saw mine in Firefox the other day, but I couldn't find it when I went deliberately looking for it. IEspell has had several links here.

So, there are alternatives.

& for the odd misspelled word, so what, if the meaning is here.

& I, I took the road less travelled by.
