Yes, I noticed that in another RV forum.
He will be missed! And I was just reading his article in MotorHome!

Gaylord will certainly be missed. I alway's enjoyed his writings. See ya in Heaven some day Gaylord!!!

Like PapPappy, I too was reading his article in the newest issue of Motorhome magazine just this morning while having my morning coffee. He had just returned from the first trip in his new downsized motorhome. Mr. Maxwell will certainly be missed and our thoughts and prayers go to his family.

Gaylord Maxwell, you will be missed. You have helped to open up the wonderful world of RVing to so many people. Hubby and I have been to 2 Conferences and are looking forward to our third in 2009. Thank you so much. You have left a wonderful legacy for fellow RV'rs that will be passed down for many, many generations to come.
