Just got home from a RV show here in the Vancouver area, and I can't stop thinking about a toy hauler we saw. It's a KZ Inferno 4005 Monster, and wow, what a beauty.
We don't own any motorized 'toys' and I usually don't even bother checking out any haulers. I usually say to my DW, "who would want to camp with the smell of gas etc from their motorbikes strapped in the back."
I suppose my 5 or so bicycles and the dog kennel could make good use of the space.....must resist!!
Too bad we just bought an 8.1L Suburban to tow our measly KZ 289KS...sigh.
Well, better head back to the Travel Trailer forum where I belong with the voices in my head screaming, "UPGRADE. UPGRADE."

Nothing with an internal combustion engine has graced the garage section of our ZK New Vision. We've put: bicycles, barbeque, camp chairs, lots of extra luggage, leveling boards, the side-mount ladder and all sorts of stuff that I can't recall right now. Next year I'll be installing kayak racks.
Once we're in camp we drop the bunk beds from the ceiling and turn the garage into our own version of a "Kid Zone." Practically indestructible!
When the kids are sleeping in the mid-section loft, the back is a great place for my mother-in-law to sleep. 
Having said all that, that Inferno is a nice looking unit. Hard to go wrong!

pctpaul, I've been going over in my head what we could use the back end for, and pretty much all the things you listed were on my list too - imagine a full sized BBQ at the site!! Mmmm, good.
The question is, what readily available 3500 dually can actually handle a trailer with a dry hitch of 2900lbs, dry weight of 14,600, and a GVWR of 19000lbs!?! Checked my Dodge brochure, and the highest GCWR is 24,000lbs. Are these haulers into the territory of MDT's?

Do it! You will never regret it. And, you will NOT smell the gas and oil from your bikes (unless they are in total disrepair and leak all over). Once you unload them it is a non issue. I load mine and travel with them full of gas and never even turn off the gas valves. Been doing this for nine years now. Never ever a problem.

This sucks!! I've been spending every spare moment thinking about toy haulers now.
Realized that the 'dream' of a 5th wheel type is probably out of the question (come on lotto!!), but wondering if there's any TT type haulers that you folks can suggest. I've found a Cyclone that looks pretty nice, and I'm sure that's just the tip of the iceberg...

BTW, I have a Suburban 2500 LT, 8.1L, 4.10, GCWR of 20K (about 1400lbs 'cargo weight' available with the crew onboard)
