It's a matter of where in Florida you want to go. Anyone that wants the warmest weather goes to the Keys. There lowest recorded temperature is 45 F . Then it's from the Keys north. Anything south of lake Okechobee will be warm most north of it can be darm right freezing at times during the Jan-Feb months. The state parks are listed on MyFlorida.com they have 14 day maximum stay. The use of craigs list for finding just about anything is a posibility, as you can not only search it, but post for a site in a specific location. Then there's the KOA's and Encore parks you can check. Blue water Key at MM 12 near Key West is probably the best and they have there own site, both the management and the owners direct site. They go for about $250 a night, but are well worth it. Good luck with your search.

Come to North Florida, not too cold and not so crowded. I may have had my heat on 10 days last year.

Sorta fond of the area myself, guess we are coming back to Panama City for January again and maybe Feb. Split between there and Gulf Shores last year. Going to try Emerald Coast RV for January and may extend that for Feb. Did the 14 day thing last year at St. Andrews and tho its a great place , just like to have the full hook-ups for that amount of time.

Lake San Marino Resort in Naples, Fl have recently sent me emails with fantastic deals for smaller RV's. Lake San Marino Resort is part of Sun Communities, Inc.

I have never seen the place, but have talked to others that have enjoyed their stay here. I am here for the month of February.

I also got a call from a family owned campground Rock Creek RV Resort in Naples, FL. They said that they still had openings. The campground is across the street from Naples Municipal Airport.

You could try Sherwood Forest RV resort in Palm Harbour. Nice little park handy to everything. We were there last year and for most of the time they had a vacancy.

It's a fairly nice park. Yes, they do have very good deals for class C's during their season. However.....when making a reservation at this park, make sure that you are not near the cement factory (in the back of the park) It runs 24/7.....ALL NIGHT LONG !!! and is LOUD!!
