Left the Black Rock desert today and headed to Sand Mountain.

Does anyone know if there is cell phone service (ATT) at
Sand Mountain?

Thanks

Like he said! I was up there earlier this year and none of my friends had service, but my Verizon service worked perfect. On a side not however, the Verizon internet service does not work. Apparently they use a different network.

weirdest thing is Nextel works about halfway down the dirt road, then lose it at the pay station. Then by vender row and higher I get it back.

Sand mountain is a huge mountain of sand 30 minutes east of Fallon Nevada, about a 5 hour drive from Tracy.

Verizon just put in a new cell tower not far from the Mountain last year. AT&T is pretty much useless out there. Were headed to the hill Oct10th-13th
