Check on a daily basis, or even hourly. I have seen reservations come available as people cancel.
Myself, we are headed to Glamis for an 8 day stay.

I have reservations along with another couple. Hope the ol' lady and I can actually go. We've been there for TG last year and it was great. The weather is good but there will be a lot of people so be careful.

Here go to Reserve America at least two times a day to check for openings on the days you want. If you have not used this site before put in arrival date then length of stay, click Search Campgrounds then it will show "Find Next Avial. Date" in red. Click on that and it will bring up days that are open and days that are not. Good luck, and days do come up.

I have never been on TG to PIsmo but I am sure it is packed as like all the other big weekends. Have fun, not sure where we will pop up at yet.

I'm there!
Last year was the first I spent Thanksgiving there and it was great! I was part of a large group of friends of friends of friends. Weather was picture perfect. Got my reservations in July
