Regarding RV ratings, Ripsnort shared This Customer Satisfaction Survey with tallied results for comparison. I thought it was worth posting on it's own.

There are 12 different scores you give. It goes very fast so don't think it's too much trouble.

If we all "honestly" filled out the one for our own motorhome, it would greatly influence the data, which others here on RV.net could use when shopping for a new or used motorhome.

Filled it out - hopes it helps someone out - only things - There are a couple of n/a's I would have chosen, if it was an option to pick - dealer support - n/a (I bought it from a person); support from manufacturer - n/a (no problems). 2002 Dutchmen Express - only other thing - it's a 4x4 conversion, so the handling/ride is effected by that to a degree. Thank you.

did the survey and looked at the rating of others.Looks like majority of them are in the 50-60 percent range. what does that tell you? looks like the industry needs along way to go to get up to standard customer status

Look at the numbers and ratings more closely. The maximum is 75, not 100. I really think it should be based on 100%. Therefore, a rating of 60 is really 80%. It is a bit confusing because we are accustomed to seeing things rated on a 100 basis point system.

ron.dittmer - Thank you for starting this topic. It does get you looking in certain directions. Besides what others have pointed out, you do need to look at the number of reviews. For example, the brand "Nu-Wa" currently has 128 reviews with a total score of 71. This might be a better indicator than the brand "Len-Dar" having a total score of 75, but only 1 review.

Sorry, I have a degree in mathematics with several statistical analysis courses.

All very good input.

Yes, the highest score is stated as 75, so understand that when reviewing scores.

Yes, 2 inputs have little consideration over 25 inputs.

Yes, How can you rate the factory or dealer if bought used? A neutral position may be the way to go, but maybe not. That's a tough call.

Understanding the influences & variables, it can still be good reference.

I wish I knew how to read the comments one can add at the bottom. Anyone figure that one out?

A quick copy and paste into Excel and a couple of calculations reveal that the average score is about 60. But remember that is on a scale of 1-75. So that would equate to an 80% satisfaction rating. Personally I would call that pretty good.

Just my 2 cents.

I noticed you can take this survey over and over again. I hope the manufacturers don't raise their scores artificially by multiple vote entries???

You're right, so I rated mine AND everyone else's while I was in there.
