It's a useless tool.
If one guy rates his RV and likes it then that RV gets 100%, that doesn't make sense.
Example an RV that was rated 50 times and gets a 75 is a better RV that has one rating at a 75.

I took the survey, hoping to contribute in a small way to a knowledge base. The more people take the survey will smooth out the effect of a any biased individual and strengthen the evidence of the survey, making it useful in seeing a body of evidence on ratings of RVs. Limitations would include the wording and order of the sentences, limited answer choices, and individual variations on interpretation of the questions themselves and of the values of "excellent", "good", "fair", etc.
The survey does say:
"While Rvers can rate the RV many times, we only accept their initial submission."
Although I did not test this, I would hope this is true.

I think that holds true. I did the survey on my current RV first, but was not successful doing the survey on my previous RV done second.

did you try with another email address? I just went back from what I assume is the same email address and just poked a different state in and it accepted it.

bumpy bumpy - I suspect you are correct, but how many RV'ers are going to do that (intentionally slanting a unit one way or the other)? I tend to believe all people are honest until they prove otherwise. As was stated earlier, the more reviews - the less effect of the slanted ones.

I did mine but the survey is next to useless. Many manufacturers make everything from entry level units to luxury units and from pop up to motor homes and everything in between. Combining ratings from such diverse sources into a single manufacturer category just doesn't accomplish much. IMHO.

Oh, they probably record your IP# or something similar to prevent duplicates. How that works with things like WIFI and probably most other IPs using dynamic addresses I don't know. And a person can easily vote from different computers. I have personal access to at least 3 and from there I can go to a lot of libraries.
