Hi all,
I just completed the replacement of the Tor-Flex axles on my Alpenlight Aspen TT, and the net result is a 3" lift for the trailer. (Long story, see this link HERE ) I had been using a 4" drop hitch bar in my Hensley hitch, but that is obviously not the right one now.

I do know that Hensley will swap them out, but I am the second owner and did not buy the warranty that would permit the swaps.
Thanks!

Don

Take your drop hitch to a local welding shop and have them make you a straight one.

Call Hensley and get a price for the one you want. Check with a welding shop for price of modification. In my case the welding shop wanted more than Hensley.

Try turning the stinger over and using it that way. Might be just about right.

If all that fails...give ProPride a call...I had heard that they were working on an adjustable stinger that is compatible with a Hensley???...not sure if that has gone anywhere or not.

I would bet that a welding shop would be MUCH cheaper than buying a new one from Hensley...just a guess...

Good luck,
joe.

Well, I ended up ordering a new straight hitch bar from Hensley for $242 delivered. It should show up here tomorrow.
