We have to leave Ohio in the next couple of days to get to a ill family member in Fla. Will we have trouble finding gas in the states between here and there?

Monday we returned from Myrtle Beach SC to Charlotte NC. In North and South Carolina there have been shortages. If you watch your gas, don't go below 1/4 tank, you should have no problem.

Good Luck,

Diesel has been an issue around the Atl area. Hit and miss at stations all over.

Sopth of Tampa on I-75 towns gas seems to be okay and diesel. Gas about $3.68 and Diesel $3.99. I did find last week that a Murphy station at a local Walmart only had regular all week. There are no lines that I have noticed. Just bought gas this morning (Thursday) at a 7-11 and I was the only car!

I just returned from Disney World last week and the only place I had trouble finding gas was around Atlanta. There were a few stations without gas, but most of the time there were stations near that had gas. I bought gas at a Sam's club in Valdosta and a WalMart in Tifton in GA and at Disney and Clermont on US 27 in Florida. I did notice that some of the independent sttions in Florida were the ones without fuel. Some of the Pilot truck stops also did not have fuel. I read that the pipe lines supplying the south east are back to normal now so, you should not have too much trouble. The price of gas was cheaper in Florida than Georgia when I came through. That's unusual.
