Just an interesting read about the state of affairs regarding Sept. 08 auto sales. ALL brands, domestic or foriegn, are struggling.

Read it HERE at www.allpar.com.

Yup thing are bad for the makers.

"Despite the most generous incentives of the Japanese automakers, Nissan North America took the biggest hit of the Big Six. Combined Nissan and Infiniti sales tanked, coming in 36.8 percent behind September last year."

I was one of the few that bought a new TV in September, and I could tell they were hurting. I was the only customer in the dealership that long, lonely Thursday. But I did get a smokin' deal on my new Titan!

If you're in the market, and you can spare the $$, now is a great time to buy.

Just came in from the car. Listening on the radio to the roll call vote in the House for the bailout, rescue plan, whatever you call taking $700 BILLION dollars and buying bad home loans. Insane maybe. So once that freshly printed money is handed over to the financial institutions that were forced into these very bad loans I figure the dealers will be flooded with business. Maybe now is the time for those that have good credit, a decent down payment and can afford the loan payments to take advantage of the low prices, very low if not zero percent financing offers.
