Vandy upset Auburn. Wow.

Kentucky almost took out Bama.

Florida beat Arkansas but the score didn't tell the story; Florida has big problems on offense and I never saw so many yellow flags.

Vandy played a great game! This is a pretty doggone good team. Ought to go up in the ratings. They just wanted it more than Auburn.

Vandy is hungry for a great season. So was Kentucky. The Tide hung tough when it counted. They get a week off now, before facing Ole Miss...the team that beat Florida. Auburn has real problems with their offense this year. They will get beaten again.

A win by 3 is better than a loss by 1. Roll Tide

You're so right - that is a big change fron this time last year - ROLL TIDE ROLL...6 and 0 not 4 and 2...Just # 2 and the Tide will keep rising. Look out Baton Rouge, you're gonna see more High Tide at Tiger Stqdium than you got from Trina & Gustav.

bluenote, you're right, the "Buckeyes" did get punched in the mouth by USC, but they bounced back and are now ranked 11th. in one poll and 12th. in another and they got back on their winning ways with "Beanie" back and Terrelle Pryor, the freshman QB from Jeanette, Pa. who snubbed Michigan to play his college football in Columbus, Ohio. So exactly where are the "Wolverines" ranked right now and do you expect them to have a winning season? I bet they can beat MAC Toledo (my alma mater) this week. Let's be honest here, it may be a long time till coach Rich Rod. gets a W over The Ohio State "Buckeyes"! Hail to the victors! Chuck/Bagman.

Of the top five teams in the nation, three are from the Big 12, the other two are from the SEC. Only problem is, they will knock each other off as the season progresses. For instance, Nr.1 Oklahoma vs Nr. 5 Texas next week. And both of those teams will eventually play Nr. 3 Missouri. Don't know the SEC schedule, but I'm sure the similar match ups will occur.
Howsabout the Oklahoma Sooners vs the LSU Tigers for all the marbles??
