ah! thanks everyone for the many thoughtful answers...sounds like i need not worry about it for awhile....see if it reoccurs. if not, i appreciate having my mind eased.
in case of the DISH in outer space; we've had it overnight at an RV service and their tech originally got it working. sorry it hasn't worked while on the road and obviously then needs a real technie; not someone from DISH to finish tweaking a permanent on-the-road solution for us. otherwise, we need to get our little digital converter box so we'll be able to use that bat wing after next feb.
appreciate it--including the remark about the dog. ha-- good one....thankfully, this one is neither fighter nor farter.

I agree with JerryNH... if it's more than 4-5 years old, replace it. If you haven't had a constant propane leak problem, chances are you still don't and have a faulty sensor.
Ours went off a couple mornings in a row, and sure enough, the sensor was just plain tire. After replacing, I haven't had a problem.

yup--could very well be a faulty sensor....in checking stuff out, realize i don't see any little LED lights anymore on either the smoke detector or the CO detector...assume the batteries are bye-bye.
in either case, little green men or methane gas from feed lots; and in one theory from my DH--all that mining in NV.......gotta be messing with our air.

No batteries in the Propane detector, runs off the coach batteries. Smoke detectors use 9V batteries. The two systems are not connected to each other.
