Well he got 13 more years of freedom then he should have, he should consider himself lucky.

What in Nevada isn't?
I never heard the story behind how in California maximum security prisoners and their guards enjoy multi-million dollars views?
Like San Quentin and Folsom prisons.

Yes, because the judge denied bail and he was led out of the courtroom in handcuffs. Now will he stay there, that remains to be seen. According to his attorney he did not receive a fair trial, so they will appeal.
I noticed he didn't have that big s--- eating grin on his face last night when the verdict was read, like he did after his murder trial.
He even grimaced when the deputy was putting the cuffs on. Poor OJ, maybe justice has caught up with him this time.
His attorney can appeal all that he wants, OJ stays in jail.

For now he is in jail and I don't know what the Judge will rule next.

She (the judge), denied all of the motions before her last night, keep bail in place (bail revoked), new trial (denied), set aside verdict (denied) etc., so now it's out of her hands until the sentencing on December 5, 2008. So I don't know where the lawyers for Simpson go from here, the Nevada Supreme Court maybe, and that could take a long time. Until then, he stays in jail.
P.S. An addendum to the above post. According to the local news tonight 11:00 PM local time, Simpsons lawyers say that their next stop "is" the Nevada Supreme Court, and it could take 2 or 3 years for them to even hear his appeal. Mean time he stays in jail.

O.J. used up the bulk of his assets beating the first rap and his only source of income these days is an NFL pension.
Even if he suspends his search for "the real killers" , I doubt it will afford him much of a legal "Dream Team"...

The news today mentioned that several jurors admitted that they though he comitted the crime he was found not guilty on 13 years ago and this may have "colored" their judgement.
I don't know about the California case but Frankly, in this case, I think the Guilty verdict is the proper one.
I mean he had a live victim to identify him, and IIRC he was caught "red handed" as it were. Kind of removes all doubt.
