I talked to Dad about it and he said the guy told him he got 12-14mpg... “yeah Dad, cause he wanted you to buy it” I told him. “Would you buy it if the guy told you you’d get 6-8mpg?“ Dad seems to be convinced the guys telling the truth. Now, there's hope; and there's denial... I'm sure doing all the right things(which I intend to do)would help. But thinking you're going to get close to double what everybody says I just don't think is sensible.

i get about 8 mpg in my 31 ft 454 national dolphin and i try to keep it in good tune and under 60 mph


Been there, doing that have a few T shirts .

I guess one good thing(I've been branded to drive) is, I'm not a speed demon at all. I'm a turtle. My friends go nuts riding with me cause I'm puttin along hoping to see a deer, etc; not zooming down the road at 80.
