Inside the galley cabinet are three valves. Two are low point drains and one is the water heater bypass. Which one is the water heater bypass?
It's difficult to follow the plumbing lines to the water heater which is located farther back in the cabinet under the refer.

Thanks...

The water heater bypass valve or valves should be at or close to the water heater. That's the way it is on our Minnie. We can access the bypass valve by removing a drawer located below the fridge.

There are basically three different types of water heater bypass system your RV could have. There is a single valve system where the single valve is an either/or valve to send water into the tank OR into the bypass line and the outflow from the tank is controlled by a check valve.

There is also a two valve system where you close off one valve leading into the tank and open up another line allowing water to follow the by-pass line and again, the outflow side has a check valve.

The third kind has the same configuration as number two above except it uses a manual valve to close off the outflow line and prevent back-filling the tank (not many of those around any longer).

If you open a low point drain valve and turn on your water pump it will dump water under the RV so it should be very easy to determine if you've opened a low point drain.

Open 1 valve and look under the RV to see if water is draining (have a faucet open on hot and another on cold so the pipes can vent). If so, it is a drain valve. If no water is draining, it is the bypass valve. Obviously, have water in the pipes when trying this. Repeat 2 more times.

Camper Ken,

I have Access 31c on the Chevy chasis. Our is setup as follows. All the valves are under the galley the two low point drains are kind of in the center of the space and are parallel to each other. The bypass valve is located to the left and place perpendicular to the other two.

I labeled mine with a marker on the floor next to each what they do and which way is on/off on the valve.
