HI, my parents bought a 1985 Fleetwood Jamboree. It has a Suburban Furnace, model # NT30S, which will not fire up. The fan runs, and other propane appliances work, so I don't think there is a gas supply problem to the unit. I'm looking for an owners manual before we take the unit out/apart to see what's wrong with it. Or, if anyone has some ideas of what to check, I'd appreciate it.

The circuit starts through a time delay relay, about 1 inch cube that after approx1-15 seconds supplies power to the sail switch. The sail switch closes sending power toward a disc thermal cutout safety switch, which when operating properly sends power to the circuit board.
Start by opening furnace and locating each of these items.
With the fan not running check for continuity through thermal switch.
Check sail switch. You should be able to operate the small arm. You should here a click. Or measure for continuity.
Now turn on furnace, check for 12+ volts to come out of time delay relay heading toward sail switch. No power then time delay relay bad. Power check along circuit toward sail switch and circuit board. Power to circuit board.
Power to circuit board, check the connector.
Check these items for starters.

does the unit have a propane/co2 detector? is it turned on? if not, the propane will not flow.

Ok, I took the furnace apart today. I have power going into the time delay relay, to the sail switch and through it when the fan runs, through the limit switch and into the circuit board. I suspect the circuit board, as no power is coming out of it to open the gas valves, and there is no spark at the ignitor. The gas valves will open when 12 volts is applied directly to them. Also in the suburban service manual, it says there is a neon bulb on the circuit board that is supposed to flash when the ignitor is sparking, but I don't see any flashing. I assume the time delay relay is ok if it allows power through it to the other switches and to the control board, right? I don't have a co/propane leak detector, and I know gas is flowing to the unit. I'm pretty sure it's the control board, but before I send my dad out to spend $100 for a new one, I wanted to see what you guys think. Also, is there any way to repair the control board, or should I just tell him to buy a new one? Thanks again for your help.
