Hi everyone, I've gotten alot of good advice on here so I wanted to pick your brains one more time. If you had the choice of a new Jayco Greyhawk Sport vs. a new Forest River Sunseeker which would you buy and why?
I'm narrowing my search and about to take the plunge so could use some words of wisdom out there.
Thanks!

Jayco 2 year warranty vs. 1 year FR. Butmy reason for picking itwould not be the one you could use! I've had 7 Jayco RV's so far, and will buy a Jayco again. To put that into perspective, we always spend months picking out just the right product of anykind by researching and evaluating. We still do tis when going for another RV, but Jayco wins out over virtually everything else so far! Features, standard equipment, ammenities, build quality, craftsmanship, real solid wood frames for the cabinets, screwed and stile construction instead of staples and glued. No particle board, real oak doors and drawers from Jayco's own wood mill and furniture shop. And the customer service. Call Forest River and ask a question, see what happens. The "please hold" or the "you are number 87 caller and there will be a 25 minute wait" machine. Jayco will have a real human answer your question when you call! After all, you're a member of the family that still owns and operates Jayco for the past 40 years!

We bought new two years ago and looked at the forest river sunseeker line, the Jayco Greyhawk line as well as others. We created a predefined list of criteria to help with our decision and I recommend that you do something similar, even a simple list is better than nothing. I buy alot of stuff in my day job and recognize the need to take the emotions out of a purchase like this - you will almost always get a better result if you do.
We ultimately chose Jayco for many reasons but some of the more significant were the 2 year warranty, local dealer, and the Jayco was just plain put together better. I will add that I think your local dealer relationship is a really important part of the buying experience, make sure you're comfortable with the dealer as you will need service/support regardless of what you choose

Before we got our Class A I had a Jayco class C, I would buy another one in a minute, I thought it was put together much better then the FR. I had NO trouble with the Jayco.

I too looked both Jayco and Forest River and have been very happy with my decision. Everything was just better with the Jayco - quality of materials, attention to detail, the dealer, 2-year transferable warranty, one year of free road service.
Another vote for Jayco.......
