In rememberance of the now famous Spangler Hills So-Cal Rally I'll be returning to the site November 7-8-9th. Most likely take a ride to Randsburg. If I get lucky maybe I'll run into some familier faces, or some new ones. Who knows its about the best spot around for riding.

I got good news from my surgeon yesterday (post-op checkup).
His instructions were:
- Slowly get more active. Add in whatever activities are normal for me (running, swimming, etc.). He recommended golf. I laughed.
- Don't lift anything over 30 lbs for another five weeks. (No prob, I'll have the kids bring in the groceries.)
- No sit-ups for at least seven or eight more weeks. (Again, no prob... I've been known to go for years without sit-ups.)
I asked him about desert riding. This was clearly something he'd never thought of. He told me to "wait another few weeks", which puts me in real good shape for a November trip (as long as I don't pick up my own bike if I dump it, since it weighs more than 30 lbs.).
So I'm officially un-cancelling my plans to not skip the non-rally.
