.... how do you open the awnings over the front windows?

Looking for any information available on Del Rey "Sky Lounge" and Kamp King slide-ins for preservation/restoration projects.

They look like smaller version of the ones used on travel trailers. You pull the pins on the sides and just lift the cover up.

Its easy to do. Just climb up the front tires to get up on the hood. Then, carefully stand up (on the hood) and then pull the pins and lift the covers. Just try not to scratch your shiny paint on the truck.

if you unload to camper to use it, just stop when the camper is half way off the truck get in the bed and open them. Of course you could just fully onload and pull the truck close. A ladder may also be a big help. Maybe a pair of stilts.
