I am needing to replace the vents in our older TT, a 1984 HR Aluma Lite. The reason is the screens have bit the dust and can't be replaced. Bummer! They, all three of them have fans in them but they are noisy and not very effective. Because of the replacement issue could someone give me some direction on which fan to replace the original ones? Considering the size of our TT, 24', I just plan on doing one to begin with, if that helps with the air transfer I may do another one. Maybe one in the bedroom and one in the front living/kitchen area but just one to start with because of the expense!

I put the shur-flow fans in mine. Got them on sale at Camping World last year. So far they have worked great, they move alot of air. Had a problem with the remote and the Co. sent me a new one at no cost, great customer service.

Check on ebay from much better pricing. I bought a Fantastic Power Vent with remote and rain sensor for $221 delivered from a dealer in TN. It is one of the best improvements I have made to my rig.

Go with the Fantastic. You will never regret paying the money and the customer service at Fantastic is Fantastic. There is no better staff to deal with there.

I will break from the fantastic fan supporters only to ask a question...
Do you want to be able to open the vent during a rain storm Y/N
If no: Forget this post.. cause Fantastic Fan would be my first choice
If yes. Maxx Air has one that works in the rain.

I have fantastic fans and I used the regular max-air covers I already had..
I use them any time day or night rain or shine, never had a drop of rain come in no matter how hard it rained...
the only problem with the regular Max-air cover is the fan lid won't open to it maximum opening... it don't need to, to get full air flow...

Thanks all for the suggestions. I do want to be able to leave open and use during a rain so as I understand it the Fantastic Fans have the sensor to close during rain and the Maxx-Air doesn't?

There are different versions of the fans. Just get what you need. If you don't need the rain sensor don't get it, get the one without it.
