Is it just me or does the "Post" spell checker not work for others?

I can get to the first mispelled (or undefined word) and no matter what I choose I get the following error:

"404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable."

From one that is spelling challenged, I would love for this to work!

Yep, the Spell checker has been a problem for quite a while now. Sometimes it works, sometime it doesn't.

Many of us, including some of the moderators have changed over to:

ieSpell

The program is a very quick download and install and never fails. It works great.

You can also get the Google tool bar.

That comes with a spell check as well.

Its like most everything on these boards they try to fix what isn't broke and mess it up.

Some of the computers that I use I am not allowed to install any software on. I just use it as is.

Fortunately, I can spell moderately well.

If you use Firefox, it will spell check as you type. It will underline the misspelled word, you can then right click on it for alternatives. That will still not prevent errors such as the misuse of there, their, and they're. Sometimes you have to look past the misspellings and grammar errors and look for the intentions of the poster.

If you have to have the forum's spell checker work for you, then you can use the Coast to Coast portal. Every time I have tested the spell checker on that portal, it has worked properly.

I just use "Word" with its spell check then cut & paste into the forum.
This way when I goof (hit the wrong key & loose the forum) or the forum goes down on its own I don't have to worry about loosing my post before i'm done.
