Terry and I have been fulltiming, volunteering and workcamping for nine years this month. We have traveled the country coast to coast and north to south many times. We love the lifestyle and it has been good to us. We have met many good folks and have no regrets. We began this adventure looking for the perfect place. We have found what we believe is our paradise.

It is time to plant some roots again. Due to family issues we will be coming off the road in a few weeks. My Mother (87 years young) should not be living alone and has agreed to come live with us. We have bought a home in Donnelly, ID and will be moving in.... in about three weeks.

We are looking forward to learning to cross country ski, snowshoe and snowmobiling, along with shoveling snow for upper body exercise A snowblower is on order Summers will see us fishing, boating, hiking, cycling and whatever else folk do while living in the mountains right near the lake.

We will be downsizing and getting something smaller...pu and truck camper...that Alaska trip may be possible, after all We will join the ranks of the masses....campers I will continue to moderate both the workcamping and fulltime forums, unless y'all don't want me anymore

It has been a good ride and we are ambivalent about leaving, but family comes first and we are looking forward to having the room to enjoy friends and family visits. Come see us and keep us informed about the outside world of fulltiming, volunteering and workcamping.

Wow, you said it all. Idaho is a beautiful state, and TC will give you the RVing that you will still crave! We bought some property in Island Park recently, and plan on retiring there in a few years! Keep us connected, and best of luck...so nice to care enough for your Mother to keep her with you, it's not like she didn't do the same thing for you back when! Best of luck and "keep on camp'n!"

Diane,
though we've never met, face to face, you've been a beacon to us at times when nobody else was around.
We've been fulltiming for over 11 yrs now and I'm amazed st your patience in some of the answers you given us all.
I'm sure the people at Ririe will miss you and though we haven't been that way in the last 2 yrs we knew you'd be there, in the summer.
May you have a peaceful and joyful NEW EXPERIENCE.

Dang it!! Us Idaho lovers need to keep this to ourselves.
Donnely and McCall is a great place for sure.
I have at least six more years here before the kids finish school and the wife and I are free to cash out and move to Idaho.

Dianne, though we haven’t had a chance to meet face to face it has been to read of your adventures and your great tack in being the Mod for us. We have been only FT for 2yr’s. and I hope I have half as many great stories to tell my friends and family as you have shared with us.

Good luck with your new endeavors and please stay on as the MOD.

Wishing you the best in your new lifestyle, Dianne! Thanks for all you do - and I'm glad you're still planning on camping/RVing in some fashion!
