I have a 2001 Winnebago class C on a ford E-450 chassis. I tow a car on a dolly and the turn signals don't seem to work like they should. I have checked the ground and don't think that is the problem. It acts like the signal flasher is weak, but the guy at the auto parts store says there is no flasher, that its all int the turn signal lever. My question is, does he know what he's talking about, and if not where is that flasher located?

Oops! I think you may have wanted this posted somewhere besides the Pet Stop.
I've asked the moderator to move this to another forum where you might get some mechanical help.

There should be a flasher plugged into the fuse panel left side of steering wheel.
Autozone.com actually lists two flashers. One for the turn signals and one for the hazards.

OF COURSE there's a flasher unit! The original unit may only have the capacity to flash the turn signals on the MH, but not the toad.
In this case you simply need to replace it with a HD flasher designed to handle as many lights as you are flashing.
Many people simply use another hazard flasher, which will work, but you lose the "failed bulb" flash rate change alert.
On vehicles with combined brake/turn lamps, the turn signal switch simply connects the flasher to the turn signals while at the same time it DISCONNECTS the brake light on the side that is flashing.

I had to replace the flasher in my 99 Expedition last year. It no longer looks like the old style tin one with the bimetal strip. It's an electronic one that looks more like a relay. It's mounted near the center of the dash on a bracket with several other relays and controllers.
There are at least 2 different types. Make sure you get the HD one meant for the optional trailer towing package. I couldn't find one at the NAPA store either. I had to go to the Ford dealer. They aren't cheap. If memory serves correctly it was about $25.00.

Flasher is attached to fusebox under drivers side of dash. It is square and black. Replace it with a heavy duty one

Krusty's right. I looked it up in my Ford Service Manual CD. The Expedition and F150 have a relay near the center of the dash. All the Super Duties have the electronic flasher attached to the Fuse block as described by Krusty.
