Probably most of us have a dog or two that we just wanted to "look at"
Best way to get a new dog, they just grab your heart and you know your taking
them home.
Congrats! Don't forget the pics...

After we lost Conway, our breeder-friend had one pup left from an older litter, and a new, fresh litter. "We'll just go and look", ya right. We came home with the older pup the same day and her name is Haylie. Agnes

Colliehauler.....The best way to honor your beloved pet is to open your heart to the idea that your heart is large enough to let another pet in. I never thought I could love another dog as much as my beloved corgi Max..who crossed the Rainbow Bridge when he was only 2 years old, 4 years ago....but my daughter knew it was time. She took me out one bright fall day to just "look" at our local animal shelter and I left with Mike, a bright, playful German Shepard mix, who was 2 years old and picked me to be his new human. He has brought me so much joy in the last 3 1/2 years!!!!!!!! Rescues make the best companions and family members because they so much want to be a part of your "pack"......I am forever grateful to my daughter for taking me there and grateful to Mike for picking me. He loves the outdoors and camping...Congrats on your new furkid....

Mikko is at his forever home safe and sound. Sunday I fixed each one a half pound of ground round. Mikko fit right in with the other Collies and seems right at home. He was unsure about the pet door and watched the other Collies go in and out a few times before he tried it. Mikko is a tall Collie, he can rest his head on the dinning room table without any trouble. The first night he got into bed a couple of times, had to chase him off. If I did not have so many Collies it would not bother me but if you let one in bed you would have to let them all then I would have to sleep on the sofa. I have no way of posting pictures at work and still have not bought a laptop. The MWCR rescue site does have a picture of him. With 4 Collies things seem right again although I still think about Andy.
