Anyone know if 9A is now completely open as an alternate to go around the city to 95 south?

We will be coming from NC headed to Flagler Beach, FL, where would we get on 9A and also would you take that instead taking 295?. We will be pulling a 25 foot travel trailer.

If your coming from NC on 95 south take 9A just south of the JAX airport. If your coming down I-10 take 295 to 95 south.

We like to live on the edge and drive straight thru Jax.  Nothing like a 15 MPH hairpin turn on I-95. 
If I were to go around, it would be on 9A. 295 takes you WAY out of the way.
We'll be coming thru next week!
