I was doing as search this morning for one of those old fashioned metal 2 rifle gun racks to use in my pickup truck for storing my fishing poles (And perhaps at some point a shotgun).

I've been looking through just about every outdoors shop here and no one's listing them in their catalogs....

Any of my fellow Oregonians know where I can find one at? I prefer a metal job, I've found several inexpensive plastic things, but I'd have to mail order them and none of them are permanent installation types....

Is this what you are looking for in the way of a gun rack?

Yup, I just found the same one on another site.

Little bit of foam pipe wrap and some zip ties and I'm all set .

Was just hoping I could find it local, that way I could have it installed over the weekend.

Ah, well, I ordered the one from Amazon.com. That way if something goes wrong and it never shows up, I know I'll get my money back from Amazon.

P.S. Thanks to the Admin that cleaned up the thread, this wasn't meant as a political question. I was just trying to find a good place to get an old-school gun rack from.

A length of 1" x 1/8" flat steel, a few tools and a welder and you can make your own for next to nothin.
