Have them on 2008 Damon Challenger. When I test drove unit before purchasing, it felt like front tires were out of balance. Dealer told me probably flat spots and would be gone in a few hundred miles. After 2700 miles, the out of balance situation was still there. I had front end aligned and tires rebalanced only to find out that the tires were out of round. Took unit back to dealer and they replaced the subject tires at no charge. Now the tires are fine, however I'd rather not have goodyears in favor of Michelins.

Most if not ALL tires are out of round. I always have mine trued and never have any problems. 90% of all tire failures is due to under inflation. Truck drivers do not under inflate or try to smooth out there ride. Lowering your pressure to do that will cause you nothing put problems and the change is so small it's not worth it.

DH is a shopper. In April, of this year, he found 6 Toyo tires for $1800 mounted. So far, we have made it 15,000 miles with no visible wear.

The GY were OEM on my rig, at 28K minimal wear, no checking. I thought they rode harsh when we first bought it. Had it weighed 4 corners and adjusted to the proper pressure and now they ride and handle great.

GY 670's with 32000 miles, only needed balancing but fine now.

We have Good/Years G 670 on our MH and aftr 5 years and about 30,000 miles they look new still. I had a blow out in 2007, just a little quarter sized hole in the sidewall that was hardly noticeable in the outside rear dual, and got a new tire mounted and balanced on a 4 year old tire and the cost was $33.00 The tire shop in Salina Kansas said it was a fault from the factory as the steel belts were not properly covered inside the tire. Was very impressed that I could get a replacement after 4 years.

We are coming up on our 3rd year with the G670's, and about 20K miles. Big ride improvement over the G159's. No wear problems.
I'm still in rookie status, so this could be the norm for RV/Truck tires. The PSI seems to go down very little over months of time.
I just reset our tires today, for a quick run to Borrego in a week or two. The last time I set them was in May. Then we took our yearly trip that hit the 119 temperatures in Gila Bend, to the snow conditions of the Rockie National Park. From San Diego sea level to 13K altitude, and back...
The fronts were down one psi (75 to 74) the rears were down 2 psi (80 to 78). We do have a small T-28 Class A, but the steady PSI was surprising to me.
Never had anything but Goodyears, with about 400 miles on the old set (a mixture of three different tires from the first owner, from three to six years old). So I have no comparisons to make with other tires. I have had great luck with Mich's on a combination of truck thru the years...

I too have noticed little air leakage from these tires. My car tires leak more than these.

Likewise. I carry a Husky compressor and I'm wondering if it is necessary. Our Journey which had the XRVs needed air regularly - even when sitting in FLA for 5.5 months. Our MH had a compressor and hose (many DPs have them) but it is necessary to fire up the engine. CAT advised us to turn it off and leave it off for the 5.5 months - thus the Husky.
The following year we'd replaced the Journey with an Ambassador with the GY's and it didn't need even one psi added. Now, same thing with our Jacyo - rarely have to add air (only for temperature declines in the fall really).
I think Michelin would have been wise to dump the XRV model tire (or at least the name). Even though they always tried to blame the MH owner by claiming overload or underinflation, that got very tiring since that was not the case with many on the forum who check their pressures religiously. I got the feeling they were admitting to a problem when they raised the inflation pressures in the table. If I'd kept the Journey long enough to reach replacement time I probably would have put on a higher grade MIchelin. One think I didn't like with the Journey was that the maximum load for the two front tires was identical to the GAWR for the front. No reserve at all (other than the safety factor built in by Michelin - and they won't even mention what that is).

I just bought a new 2008 Hurricane that came with G670s. Had a vibration between 52 and 57 mph. Had tires balanced and complete motorhome aligment. Still had the vibration. I jacked up the motorhome off the ground after running it a few miles. I spun the tires by hand and found that 5 out of the 6 tires were out of round. I am not happy with G670s!
