Good Day everyone. Do any members own,have owned,or know anything about a class B manufacturer called " Islander"? They are built in Newfoundland and have a unique over cab bunk style and wide body fiberglass side panels. You do not see too many here in B.C. but I have found one at a local R.V Dealer. It is built on a 1987 Dodge 1 ton chassis with a 318 engine. The builders cut out a major area of the van side walls and replace them with fiberglass sections. I am concerned that if the fiberglass replacement walls are damaged in an accident ect. will these panels be available to the repair shop? Just wondering if any of you fellow B`s have any experience with these models. The condition of the unit is good otherwise and asking price is $ 6,900 with 120,000km. Thanks and good R.Ving to all. Did you find Islander's website? It has contact info. Perhaps they would answer your questions.

Hi tiger4x4rv. Yes I did try to e mail them through the same web site as you found and the address is no longer in use. I have also tried to contact them through a business directory. Thanks for your help.
